So I haven't run. I foam rolled and that has helped, but I'm scared to test it. And now I'm not sure if I'm being paranoid or smart.
I'll be running again next week, fingers crossed, but I guess taking this one more week off isn't the worst thing.
In running news, then, all I've got for you is that I was able to have dinner with two of my Ragnar teammates on Wednesday, and it was amazing, like always. I'm always the one who plans the dinners for us, so I think I'm just going to set up one or two monthly so we can consistently see each other! Ragnar is such a strong bonding experience; I love these women!
|We forced the valet to take pictures of us haha.|
|I'm not a huge fan of punctuation in tattoos, but I'm beginning to wonder if I can live without the period at the end.|
What are your weekend plans?
Sorry to hear about your knees. I hope this week of rest does the trick.ReplyDelete
And I still love your tattoo.
Thank you...I'll try it out this evening. Fingers crossed!Delete
I hope your pain goes away! You have big plans this year!!!! You crack me up about your tattoo!!! :) I love it!ReplyDelete
Yep, I need the pain to dissipate so I can get into training! But we know what they say about making plans...Delete
That tattoo looks super awesome! I also love your dress. :)ReplyDelete
I'm really hoping your pain disappears in your knees. :S Anytime my knees hurt, I immediately do what you are doing and get some rest. Take care :)
Thanks! It's my favorite "Nothing looks good so easy dress it is!" dress :o)Delete
I love the tattoo each time I see it! Praying that you heal quickly...but I know the paranoid feeling...I get it every time my ITB acts up.ReplyDelete
Sometimes I think the paranoia is worse than the fear!Delete
Lol a true English teacher! :) I like that it sticks out when you wear tanks, which I am sure you wear a lot when you run. I hope the next time you run your knees feel strong!ReplyDelete
Hehe, I totally wore my favorite running tank and bra when I had the tattoo done so I know it would show!Delete
Your tattoo looks awesome!ReplyDelete
My fingers are crossed that you have an awesome run today!
Thanks! I'm looking forward to my run tonight!Delete
Sorry about your knees :( If it keeps up, you might want to google patello femoral pain (runner's knee). Or you can email me - I still have PT exercises from my knee problems over the summer!ReplyDelete
Thanks, but I know what the tenderness is due to. I posted earlier in the week about it :o)Delete
